Hasegawa 10846 Peach Airbus A320neo 1/200

Plastikowy model samolotu do sklejania.

The Airbus A320 is a twin-engine, mid-range jet passenger aircraft in a low-wing configuration of primarily Franco-German manufacture. Propulsion is provided by two CFM International CFM56 or IAE V2500 turbofan engines. The prototype was flown in 1987, and series production began in 1988 and continues. By early 2016, more than 6,800 aircraft of this type had been produced! The Airbus A320 was developed as a machine that was to be offered primarily to European and Asian carriers as a competitor to the Boeing 727 aircraft. The manufacturer, the Airbus concern, placed emphasis in the new machine primarily on the use of state-of-the-art electronics, primarily the fly-by-wire system, known from military aviation (such as the F-16 aircraft), but used for the first time in a passenger aircraft! New glass-cockpit avionics and a central flight management system were also used. A complete novelty was also only a two-person crew which clearly and positively affected the aircraft's operating costs. In addition, the A320 features - comparing the first serial versions - a 50% greater range than its main competitor, the Boeing 727. Due to the low unreliability of the design and the use of many avant-garde solutions, the A320 proved to be a great commercial success for the Airbus Group. By 2012, aircraft of this type had carried 7 billion people and flown for 120 million hours!
