Historical and technical description:

Grosser Hund is one of the most recognizable bipedal walker mecha from the Maschinen Krieger ZbV 3000 series, created by Japanese artist Kow Yokoyama in the 1980s. This fictional design was conceived as a heavy powered armor suit (AFS) used by German forces in an alternate reality, stylistically set between 1946–2050 (World War II – Cold War, science fiction). Despite not being based on real military hardware, this model is a great example of so-called "dieselpunk" – an alternative military technology.

In the original Ma.K. story, the Grosser Hund was used by the Strahl Demokratische Republik (SDR) faction as a heavily armed walker for combat against infantry and armored targets, powered by an advanced diesel engine and equipped with powerful weaponry and characteristic rocket engines.
