Bronco CB35070 15cm Panzerwerfer 42 (Zehnling) auf sWS – 1/35 Scale Plastic Model Kit

The Bronco CB35070 15cm Panzerwerfer 42 (Zehnling) auf sWS plastic model kit in precise 1/35 scale is a unique offering for lovers of World War II and German military vehicles. The model depicts a German rocket launcher mounted on the sWS half-track vehicle, widely used by the Wehrmacht from 1943 to 1945 on both the Eastern and Western fronts.

Vehicle Information – Historical Background

The Panzerwerfer 42, commonly known as the "Zehnling" due to its ten Nebelwerfer 41 rocket launcher rails of 150 mm caliber, was one of the first German MLRS-class rocket artillery vehicles. The base was the Schwerer Wehrmachtschlepper (sWS) half-track, capable of moving through challenging front-line conditions. This solution allowed for mobility and quick withdrawal after firing a salvo, protecting the crew from counter-battery fire – a key function on the ever-changing WWII battlefield. The Panzerwerfer was used mainly from 1943 and became renowned during the fighting in Normandy, on the Eastern Front, and in the Ardennes.
