  • Scale: 1/72 (ideal for IBG models)
  • Material: high-quality 3D-printed resin
  • Dedicated to PZL P.24A/B/C/E fighter aircraft
  • Designed specifically for IBG models
  • Includes: detailed radiators and Venturi tubes

History and Application of the PZL P.24

The PZL P.24 is a Polish fighter aircraft developed before World War II by the PZL factory in Warsaw. It was the export version of the popular "P" series and was renowned for its modern design solutions and excellent maneuverability. The P.24A, P.24B, P.24C, and P.24E variants were mainly used by Balkan and Middle Eastern countries, including Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey, during the 1930s and throughout World War II.

Advantages of the IBG 72U023 Enhancement Set

This is a set for demanding modellers who want to significantly increase the authenticity and realism of their models. The 3D-printed components are made from high-resolution resin, perfectly capturing the subtle features of the radiators and Venturi tubes, which are often insufficiently detailed in standard plastic parts. The set does not contain metal components, but thanks to the accuracy of 3D printing, it surpasses traditional photo-etched accessories in terms of detail. It is dedicated to IBG 1/72 scale plastic model kits and is suitable for every variant of the PZL P.24A/B/C/E.

Target Users and Difficulty Level

We recommend this product for intermediate and advanced modellers who wish to enhance and boost the realism of their replica. We rate the assembly difficulty at 3/5 – care is required when handling and gluing delicate resin parts. It is an ideal addition for enthusiasts of Polish aviation and collectors of interwar and World War II aircraft.

Scale
1/72

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
