First To Fight PL104 Francuski Czołg Dowodzenia Hotchkiss H35 Z Armatą 37mm SA38 1/72

We present an exceptionally detailed plastic model kit First To Fight PL104 Francuski Czołg Dowodzenia Hotchkiss H35 Z Armatą 37mm SA38 in 1/72 scale. This set is a faithful replica of a command vehicle that played a key role in the French armored forces during World War II.

Historical information and usage

The Hotchkiss H35, manufactured in France by Hotchkiss, is a light infantry tank from the interwar and World War II era. This vehicle was introduced into service between 1936 and 1940 and was designed as a successor to the obsolete Renault FT-17, to protect and support French infantry assaults. It was mainly used during the French Campaign of 1940. After France’s defeat, the Germans captured numerous H35s and repurposed them for their own use—even employing them until 1944 for both training purposes and in anti-partisan combat.

The main upgrade of this version was the 37mm SA38 gun, which offered significantly better firepower compared to earlier H35 variants armed with the SA18 cannon. Thanks to this, the H35 became a more dangerous opponent for light and medium German tanks at the beginning of the war.
