The model depicts a version of the legendary Soviet T-34/85 tank used during Yugoslav armed conflicts—both in battles after the end of World War II and in later Balkan conflicts.

The T-34/85 tank was developed as a response to new German tanks (Panther, Tiger), which it could effectively face thanks to its improved 85 mm caliber gun and a modified three-man turret. Produced from 1944, it was notable for its simple construction, ease of manufacturing, significant firepower, and characteristic 60-degree sloped armor. More than 44,000 units were built in the USSR, and after the war, production continued in Poland and Czechoslovakia. The T-34/85 was used by the Yugoslav army and took part, among others, in the Yugoslav civil war in the 1990s (modern times, postwar period).
