After the capitulation of France, its production continued under German supervision during the occupation and resumed after the factories were liberated by the Allies in 1944. The AHN2 was widely used in both the French military and the civilian sector. Between 1944 and 1946, as many as 8,400 examples of this functional and robust truck were produced. It transported supplies, people, and equipment on World War II fronts and during the post-war reconstruction of France.
