The ZSL-92A is an armored personnel carrier based on a 6x6 chassis, produced since the early 1990s for the People's Liberation Army of China. Its design allows for the rapid transport of an eight-man squad plus two crew members. The ZSL-92A APC has been used in UN peacekeeping missions as well as in actions against insurgents in Asia and Africa. The visibly reduced weight of the APC version allows for better off-road mobility compared to heavier IFV variants.

The Hobby Boss model faithfully reproduces both the shapes and details of the real vehicle – the characteristic turret, external armor, suspension details, and realistically recreated tires.
