Mitsubishi A6M Zero – Historical Background
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a carrier-based fighter used by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II (1940–1945). The Zero played a key role during the attack on Pearl Harbor, in Pacific operations, and in numerous battles such as the Battle of Midway. Thanks to its light construction and excellent maneuverability, it was one of the most formidable opponents for Allied pilots in the early years of the war.
This book enables readers to understand the evolution of the A6M from the earliest prototypes (1940) to the final variants used at the end of the conflict. The illustrations, archive photos, and technical drawings presented in the book are based on original sources and the manufacturer's documentation.
