This shade matches the historical color RLM 82 Olivgrün, used on German Luftwaffe aircraft during the final phase of World War II (1944–1945). RLM 82 Olivgrün was mainly used as an upper camouflage color on aircraft such as the Messerschmitt Bf 109, Focke Wulf Fw 190, or Me 262, particularly during Defense of the Reich operations against Allied air raids.
