Historical description:

The 15 cm sFH 18 (schwere Feldhaubitze 18) was the basic heavy howitzer of the German Army during World War II. Introduced into service in 1935, it played a key role on all fronts of the war, from the Polish campaign to the battles on the Eastern and Western fronts. It was characterized by high effectiveness in firing at both ground targets and fortifications. After the war, a number of these howitzers were taken over by the victorious Allied powers.

Product category:

  • Photo-etched set for plastic model kit assembly

Scale
1/35

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
