Bronco CB35148 US M19A1 Twin 40 MM Gun Motor Carriage Korean War 1/35

We present the highly detailed plastic model kit Bronco CB35148 US M19A1 Twin 40 MM Gun Motor Carriage Korean War in the popular 1:35 scale. This model kit is a faithful miniature of the American self-propelled anti-aircraft gun M19A1, best known for its intensive service during the Korean War from 1950–1953.

The M19A1 Gun Motor Carriage was based on a modified M24 Chaffee light tank chassis and was equipped with twin-coupled 40 mm Bofors anti-aircraft guns. Its primary role was to protect ground forces from air attacks, but thanks to its great firepower, it also proved effective against light vehicles and in infantry support roles. During the Korean War, the M19A1 was used, among other things, to defend US and South Korean positions from air attacks, as well as to counter enemy infantry thanks to the high rate of fire of its guns.

  • Scale: 1:35 – ideal for detailed replication of a military vehicle
  • Country of use: United States of America (USA)
  • Historical period: Korean War (1950–1953), classified as the postwar period, start of the Cold War

The Bronco CB35148 US M19A1 Twin 40 MM Gun Motor Carriage stands out for its high-quality interior and chassis detailing, realistic decals, and weaponry replication. We recommend it to both 20th-century military enthusiasts and Cold War-era military equipment collectors. This model will make an excellent addition to Korean War dioramas or collections of American vehicles. Thanks to the large number of parts and precise workmanship, it poses a challenge for modelers but ensures a satisfying final result.

By choosing Bronco Models, you invest in a realistic, valuable historical model with an excellent base for further detailing and personalization.

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
