The Hataka Hobby HTK-AS104 Early Su-27S/P/UB “Flanker-B/C” paint set is a professional set of six colours intended for models of the famous Su-27 fighter in its early versions, used by the USSR and Russian Air Force during the Cold War and immediately after. The set is dedicated to modelers recreating authentic historical paint schemes of the Su-27S/P (“Flanker-B”) and Su-27UB (“Flanker-C”) aircraft.

Su-27 Flanker is a twin-engine air superiority and interceptor fighter (S/P/UB versions), with its first prototype T10-1 flown in May 1977. Serial production of the Su-27S started in 1985, and the two-seat Su-27UB in 1987. By 1991, a total of 517 Su-27S/P and 123 Su-27UB/UP were produced. This aircraft played a key role in the USSR’s defense structures at the end of the Cold War era, later also serving in Russia’s armed forces and those of states formed after the dissolution of the Eastern Bloc.

This set contains 6 bottles of water-based acrylic paints specially formulated to recreate the authentic paint scheme of early Su-27 aircraft:

• HTK-A103 Traffic Red – colour for internal wells, landing gear doors, and other internal Su-27 elements, including wheel hubs and airbrake.
• HTK-A327 Radome Green – characteristic green of the nose cone and all radio-transparent elements of early Su-27s.
• HTK-A101 Traffic White – white used on nose cones and radio-transparent elements of later series Su-27 and Su-27UB.
• HTK-A328 Pale Blue – lower blue base, characteristic for Soviet aircraft from this period.
• HTK-A038 Light Grey (Light Blue) – light grey used for upper camouflage of the airframe.
• HTK-A095 Blue (Gris Bleu Clair) – blue for camouflage of upper surfaces.
