AFV Club AG35020 Rivet for Churchill/Centurion (2 pockets) 1/35 – Rivets for Tank Models

AFV Club AG35020 is a high-quality set of modeling rivets designed for modelers who build or detail models of Churchill and Centurion tanks in 1/35 scale. These precision rivets allow for a significant improvement in the level of detail replication on armored vehicles from World War II and the early Cold War period. Such additions are especially valued by advanced tank modeling enthusiasts and diorama workshops, where accuracy of historical vehicle details is of key importance.

Historically, the Churchill tank was one of the mainstays of the British armored forces during World War II (years of service: 1941–1952), used on the European and African fronts as well as in later conflicts. Meanwhile, the Centurion, one of the most famous post-war tanks, appeared at the end of WWII and served in the British Army and many other countries from 1945 until the late 1970s, seeing action in the Korean War, the Middle East, and Asian conflicts. Both of these tank designs featured characteristic small armor rivets that can now easily be recreated in 1/35 scale thanks to this AFV Club set.

The AFV Club AG35020 set enables modelers to enhance the detail of hulls and turrets on Churchill and Centurion tank models. The kit includes two types of rivets placed in practical "2 pockets," allowing for precise application in historically accurate positions, both on new builds and converted models.

Scale
1/35

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
