The Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri is a German observation helicopter developed during World War II by the Flettner company. It was one of the first serially produced helicopters in the world, used mainly by the Kriegsmarine for naval reconnaissance, artillery spotting, and scouting. The Kolibri, or “hummingbird,” was a very advanced design for its time and marked a breakthrough in Axis aeronautical engineering. It was used from 1942 to 1945, especially in the Mediterranean and North Sea.

Eduard 32927 Set Features

  • Precise cockpit interior details
  • Enhancements for control system and instrument panels
  • Addition of surface and exterior elements
  • Clear and detailed assembly instructions

The photo-etched set does not include the base model – it is intended as an exclusive upgrade for the MiniArt Fl 282 Kolibri 1/35 scale model. Thanks to precise components, the model will appear much more realistic, especially in the cockpit area and technical details that are unattainable in standard plastic kits.

Scale
1/35

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
