Scale
1/32

What does the model scale mean?

The model scale designation, for example, 1:30, means that the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale determines the proportion, not the resolution or level of detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g., 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with a larger number (e.g., 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller—good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.

Techmod 32013 - Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat (1/32)

The presented product is a high-quality decal set for 1/32 scale plastic models, prepared by the renowned Polish company Techmod. The Techmod 32013 set is dedicated to the Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat fighter aircraft, one of the most recognizable American machines from World War II. This product stands out for its extremely precise reproduction of markings and meticulously designed camouflage variants, allowing modelers to replicate historical paint schemes on their models with exceptional authenticity.

  • Scale: 1/32
  • Model: Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat
  • Country of operation: United States of America
  • Period of use: World War II (mainly the years 1941-1945)
  • Category: Decals for plastic aircraft models
  • Material: High-quality thin decal film with precise offset printing

The Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat is a legendary American carrier-based fighter aircraft that played a key role in the Pacific theater, including the Battle of Midway, the fighting over Guadalcanal atoll, and during Operation Torch on the African front. The Techmod 32013 set includes 6 historical marking variants of aircraft serving among others with famous USMC pilots: Marian E. Carl (VMF-223, Guadalcanal, 1942), Howard Stanton Packard (VF-6, USS Enterprise, 1942), and crews of aircraft from the carriers USS Ranger and USS Enterprise. Numerous options allow the reproduction of aircraft from various months and theaters of war.

Techmod decals are synonymous with vivid colors, sharp outlines, and excellent adhesion to model surfaces. The delicate structure, which responds well to softening solutions, greatly facilitates the application of details even on complex panel lines or rivets. The set is ideal for both intermediate and advanced aircraft modelers (difficulty level 2/5), wishing to enhance their Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat model with realistic markings from the actual WWII battlefield. We recommend this product to anyone who values high quality in the final result and attention to historical detail.
