This set includes both the 60 cm barrel (Gerät 040) and the alternative 54 cm barrel (Gerät 041), enabling you to build models of the historical "Adam" and "Eva" units.

  • Scale: 1/35 – perfect for building realistic dioramas and for collectors’ displays.
  • Country of use: Third Reich (Germany), Period: World War II (years 1941–1945).
  • Historically, the Morser Karl-Gerat was used during the siege of Sevastopol, the Warsaw Uprising, and in battles at Budapest and the Maginot Line.
  • The kit is made of high-quality plastic and also includes metal parts (metal axles and springs) as well as photo-etched (PE) parts for detailing the engine grilles and the transport wagon handles.
  • The set comes with two optional barrels (60cm and 54cm), a set of shells, a finely detailed interior with torsion bar suspension, separately molded suspension, foldable side platforms, and an elevating gun. The kit also includes a detailed railway wagon compliant with the historical transports of the Morser Karl-Gerat.
  • Dimensions when completed: length 840 mm, width 99.4 mm, height 133 mm.
  • The model can be finished in one of two 1941 painting schemes in panzer grey, representing either "Adam" or "Eva".
  • Category: plastic model kit.

Trumpeter Morser Karl-Gerat 040/041 is an excellent choice for advanced modelers wishing to build a unique, large-scale model with fascinating history and intricate details. The kit features as many as 1361 parts, 30 sprues, metal and PE elements, providing great satisfaction from building the most famous German self-propelled howitzer. Glue and paints are required (not included).

Difficulty level: 5/5 – recommended for experienced modelers due to the high level of detail and large number of parts.

This product is especially recommended for military collectors and World War II history enthusiasts who appreciate historical accuracy and precise workmanship.

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
