Product description:
The Master SM-700-015 British 4in/45 (10.2 cm) QF HA Marks XVI barrels set is a high-quality kit of fourteen precisely machined brass barrels, dedicated to British World War II warship models in 1:700 scale. These barrels are designed to replace the original plastic parts in models from companies such as Tamiya, Trumpeter, FlyHawk, or WEM, enriching the model with exceptional realism and extremely detailed reproduction.
The 4in/45 QF HA Mark XVI barrel was one of the most widely used types of naval guns by the Royal Navy during World War II. This weapon was used on board famous British battleships such as HMS Hood, HMS Rodney, HMS Warspite, as well as County-class heavy cruisers and numerous destroyers – including allied ships like the Polish destroyer ORP Błyskawica. It was a primary armament for engaging aerial targets and smaller ships.
Period of use: World War II (1939-1945)
This set of barrels is a modeling component that allows you to very faithfully reproduce the armament of British units from this pivotal era. Their metal construction guarantees resistance to breakage and wear, making them not only visually impressive but also durable. Assembly is very simple and does not require specialized tools.
We highly recommend this product to modelers looking to take their ship models to a higher level of detail, as well as to enthusiasts of Royal Navy maritime history.
