SMS Viribus Unitis was a dreadnought battleship, the pride of Austria-Hungary during World War I. The ship was launched in 1911 and, throughout the war, was the most important vessel of the Austro-Hungarian fleet. It mainly served in the Adriatic from 1912 to 1918, and in the final days of the war, it was symbolically handed over to the newly established National Fleet of the Kingdom of SHS (later Yugoslavia). SMS Viribus Unitis sank following an attack by Italian combat divers in November 1918.
