Dassault MD-311 Flamant is a light, twin-engined training and reconnaissance aircraft as well as a light bomber, designed in France just after World War II. The Flamant, in service with the French Air Force (Armée de l'Air), was widely used between 1947 and 1965 during the postwar military rebuild and in colonial conflicts. It took part in military operations in France, North Africa, and Indochina as a patrol, training, transport, and support aircraft.
The MD-311 Flamant A087 model presented by Azur allows for a faithful reproduction of airframe details, both external and within the cockpit. The kit includes precisely made polystyrene parts, clear glazing, and a set of decals with authentic French Air Force markings. The kit does not include glue or paints – any products dedicated to plastic models may be used.
Recommendation: The Azur A087 MD-311 Flamant model is recommended for enthusiasts of historic aviation and collectors of Cold War era aircraft models. It will be an excellent choice for intermediate modelers and those looking to enrich their collection with a less typical, but highly interesting and faithfully reproduced multi-role French aircraft model.
